Whenever I catch myself thinking that something is difficult to attain, that it’s going to take forever, or that I have so many things to figure out before I can reach a goal, I use this little hack.
I simply affirm in my mind, or say it out loud:
“It’s going to be so easy for me.”
Or:
“It’s always been easy for me.”
And honestly, this works so fast and so consistently for me.
I think one of the biggest reasons this works is because it helps me bring my desires down to my level.
We sometimes put our biggest dreams on such a high pedestal that we accidentally make them feel far away from us. We look at the dream, the goal, the relationship, the money, the lifestyle, the opportunity, or whatever it is we want, and think, “Wow, that would be amazing... but how am I ever going to get there?”
And the moment we do that, we have created a huge distance between ourselves and the thing we desire.
So instead of putting your desires, goals, and dreams on a pedestal, bring them down to your level.
Make them feel normal.
Make them feel familiar.
Make them feel like something that belongs in your life.
Instead of thinking, “That would be incredible if I could have that someday,” start thinking, “Of course that can happen for me.”
Instead of, “That is going to be so difficult to achieve,” try, “It’s going to be so much easier for me than I think.”
Instead of, “That is so far away from where I am right now,” remind yourself, “Things can change very quickly for me.”
You don’t have to constantly stare at your dream from a distance and wonder how you’re ever going to reach it.
You can bring it closer.
This is also why I love saying, “It’s always been easy for me.”
Even if something has never been easy for you before, this affirmation helps you stop identifying with the old story. You’re no longer reinforcing the idea that you are someone who has to struggle, wait forever, or work incredibly hard for everything you want.
You’re practicing a new identity.
The identity of someone who gets to experience things differently.
Someone who receives opportunities easily.
Someone who meets the right people at the right time.
Someone who finds solutions quickly.
Someone who experiences beautiful surprises.
Someone who can have things without constantly wondering how they are going to happen.
And I love adding “fun” because I don’t want manifestation to feel like another job.
“It’s always so easy and fun for me.”
That’s the energy I want to return to.
Because your dream doesn’t have to become this enormous thing that you have to climb toward. You don’t have to make your goal look so much bigger, more complicated, or more impressive than you are.
Your desires are allowed to come down from the pedestal.
They are allowed to become normal.
They are allowed to become familiar.
They are allowed to feel like something that naturally belongs in your reality.
And this is where consistency is key. Always.
Don’t just say an affirmation once and then go right back to the old story the moment you feel doubtful.
Repeat it. Repeat it. Repeat it.
Repeat your affirmation in your mind while you’re getting ready in the morning. Say it while you’re walking, driving, cooking, cleaning, getting ready for bed, or whenever you notice yourself slipping back into the old way of thinking.
Keep repeating it until the words start to feel familiar.
Keep repeating it until the idea of your desire being difficult starts to feel unfamiliar.
Keep repeating it until you can think about what you want without immediately feeling like it’s so far away from you.
And eventually, you may notice something shift.
You’re not trying so hard to believe it anymore.
It just starts to feel normal.
It starts to feel real for you.
And that’s what I’m looking for.
Not forcing myself to believe something for five minutes, but repetition until the new story becomes the story I naturally live from.
So whenever something starts feeling too complicated, too far away, or like it’s going to take forever, try this.
Stop for a moment.
Take a breath.
And tell yourself:
“It’s going to be so much easier for me than I think.”
“It’s always been easy for me.”
“Things work out for me in the most unexpected ways.”
“It’s always so easy and fun for me.”
Then keep repeating it.
Consistency is the key.
Bring your desires down to your level.
Take them off the pedestal.
Let them become familiar.
Let them become normal.
Let yourself become the person for whom it is natural.
Because you don’t have to worship the dream from a distance.
You can simply decide that it belongs with you. ✨
I hope this is helpful. Happy manifesting ♡
